Regular listing is FREE and Featured listing is CAD 79.99. You can add photos, description, and any details about your rental property.
Q: Can I use credit cards for payments and is my payment secure ?
Yes, you can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We are using PayPal to process your payments because this is the most secure way to pay online. You don't need to open an account with PayPal, and you can pay using your credit card directly. Plus, when you pay with PayPal, you do not expose your credit card number to us. PayPal does all the processing, and we never see your credit card number, address, or any other payment information.
Q: What is a REGULAR listing?
- Regular listing is FREE
- Only one photo is allowed.
- The listing will expire on March 31, 2010.
Q: What are the benefits of featured listings?
- Featured listings appear in front of regular listings in search results.
- Featured listings allow up to 6 photos.
- Featured listings are randomly displayed on the homepage.

Q: Why do I want to list my property as a featured listing?
Featured listings get better exposure as they are viewed first by potential renters.

Yes. Click on 'Upgrade to FEATURED' next to your listing in your account.
Q: How long will my listing appear on Goldencityrentals.com ?
Your listing will stay on our website until March 31, 2010. After that date listings will be automatically deleted.
Q: How far in advance should I start advertising my rental property for 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games?
Due to increasing interest in Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, we advise to start marketing your rental accommodations as early as 18 months in advance. Closer to the Olympic Games increasing number of private Olympic rentals will be coming to the market.
Q: I don't know how to add photos to my listing. Can you help me?
Yes. You can add a photo by logging in to your GoldenCityRentals.com account and clicking on 'Add Photos' next to your listing. If you still experience problems, please contact us, and we will be glad to add photos for you.
Q: Can I make a link from a Goldencityrentals.com listing to my website?
Yes. You can create a link to your website from your ad on Goldencityrentals.com
Q: How do I remove my rental listing from Goldencityrentals.com when it's rented?
You can remove your rental property listing from search results yourself after you login. Click 'Hide' next to the property listing in your account. Now the property is deactivated, and is listed as 'Hidden' in your account.
Q: Can I hide my name from being displayed with my listing?
Yes. Log in to your account. Click on Edit Account Details. Check 'Do not publish name' check box below 'Last Name'. Click on Submit button on the bottom of the page. Now your name is not displayed in your listing.
Q: Can I make changes to my property listing once it is online?
Yes, but some restrictions apply. You will not be able to make changes to property address. If you need to change the address for your property, please contact us.
Q: Do I pay any extras (like taxes, services, utilities fees)?
No. There are no hidden fees. All fees are included.
